The PVC Reducing Tee (SxSxS) is a streamlined solution for branching a smaller distribution line off a larger main header without the need for extra bushings. This fitting features three slip sockets: two larger inline openings for the main run, and a smaller branch opening (the "bull") perpendicular to the run. For installations where you need even more size flexibility, consider pairing these with PVC Reducing Bushings.
Manufactured from durable Schedule 40 PVC, these reducing tees are designed for permanent, solvent-welded connections. They are commonly used to step down from a 1" or 3/4" mainline to 1/2" risers or zone lines, reducing friction loss and minimizing the number of glue joints required in your system.
Note: Sizes are listed as Run x Run x Branch.

Proper sizing and welding are key.
Step 1: Check Sizing
Ensure you have the correct pipes for each port. The two inline ports (Run) match the larger pipe size, while the perpendicular port (Branch) matches the smaller pipe size.
Step 2: Clean and Prime
Remove burrs from all cut pipe ends. Apply Purple Primer to the outside of all three pipe ends and the inside of the three tee sockets.
Step 3: Glue and Twist
Apply PVC Glue generously. Insert the pipes one by one, giving each a quarter-turn twist to distribute the glue evenly. Hold firmly for 30 seconds to prevent push-out.
