Description

Push. Lock. Repair. No Glue Required.

The PVC-Lock Slide Repair Coupler revolutionizes the way you fix broken sprinkler lines. Designed with a unique "slide" mechanism, this fitting features an extended length that can be compressed to fit into a cutout section of pipe, then expanded to bridge the gap. It allows you to repair a burst Schedule 40 or Class 200 PVC pipe without digging a massive trench or waiting for PVC glue to cure.

These advanced irrigation fittings utilize stainless steel retainer teeth and O-ring seals to create an instant, permanent connection. Because no primers or solvents are needed, you can pressurize the system immediately after installation—perfect for emergency repairs or wet conditions where traditional glue would fail.

Why Choose PVC-Lock Technology?
  • Instant Installation: Simply push the pipe into the fitting. The internal stainless steel teeth grip the pipe while the O-ring creates a watertight seal.
  • Adjustable Slide Action: The telescoping design allows the coupler to slide back to fit into tight spaces, then extend to cover the gap, eliminating the need to bend or force pipes.
  • No Chemicals: Zero primer, zero glue, and zero fumes. This makes it safer for the environment and allows for installation in wet or muddy trenches.
  • Removable & Reusable: With the specialized PVC-Lock Release Tool, you can disengage the fitting and reuse it if layout changes are needed.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Repair a break in under a minute.

Step 1: Cut and Clean
Remove the damaged section of pipe (approx 2-4 inches depending on coupler size). Ensure the remaining pipe ends are clean, square, and free of burrs using a PVC cutter.

Step 2: Slide On
Push one end of the repair coupler onto one side of the existing pipe. Because of the slide action, you can push it far enough onto the pipe to clear the gap.

Step 3: Slide Back
Align the other end of the coupler with the second pipe end. Slide the coupler back over the gap until it fully engages the second pipe.

Step 4: Pressurize
Once the fitting is centered and locked, you can turn the water back on immediately. No cure time needed!

✔ Compatibility Check

Ensure your pipe is compatible:

  • Fits: Standard Schedule 40 and Class 200 PVC Pipe.
  • Does NOT Fit: Copper, PEX, Polyethylene Tubing, or threaded nipples.
  • Preparation: Pipe ends MUST be chamfered (beveled) slightly to protect the internal O-ring during insertion.
