How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Repair a leak in minutes without digging up the yard.

Step 1: Cut the Damaged Section
Identify the break and remove a section of the pipe. The removed section needs to be slightly longer than the compressed length of the coupling (consult the label for the exact "cut-out" length).

Step 2: Prepare the Ends
Clean both pipe ends. Deburr the edges to prevent damage to the internal O-rings. Apply Purple Primer to the pipe ends and the coupling sockets.

Step 3: Glue and Compress
Apply PVC Glue to the pipe ends and the inside of the coupling. Fully compress the telescoping coupling and slide it onto one side of the pipe.

Step 4: Expand and Set
Align the coupling with the other pipe end. Extend (telescope) the piston out so that the socket slides over the second pipe end. Hold firmly for 30-60 seconds to allow the solvent weld to set.
