Description

Transition from PVC to Poly. Seamlessly.

The .620" OD Easy Loc x 1/2" Slip fitting is designed to create a permanent, leak-proof connection between rigid PVC pipe and flexible .620" OD Poly Tubing. This adapter features a 1/2" Slip socket on one side that glues directly onto 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, and a .620" Easy Loc compression fitting on the other.

It is one of our most specific irrigation fittings for repairing or adapting Raindrip® style systems (.620" OD) to a professional PVC water source. Whether you are running a new zone from a PVC header or fixing a broken line, this fitting ensures a secure transition without the need for clamps.

Why Choose Easy Loc (Perma-Loc)?
  • Professional Transition: Allows you to transition from high-pressure PVC mainlines to low-pressure drip tubing securely.
  • Secure Locking Nut: The Easy Loc collar screws over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barb. This prevents "blow-offs" even under pressure fluctuations.
  • Reusable Tubing Connection: While the PVC side is permanent (glued), the Easy Loc side can be unscrewed and reused if you need to replace the tubing later.
  • Specific Sizing: Clearly identified by the black nut, this fitting is designed exclusively for .620" OD tubing and prevents leaks common with mismatched fittings.

Step 1: Prep PVC Connection
Clean the end of your 1/2" PVC pipe and the inside of the fitting's slip socket. Apply Purple Primer to both surfaces.

Step 2: Glue the PVC Side
Apply PVC Glue to the pipe and the socket. Push the fitting onto the pipe, twist a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds to bond.

Step 3: Connect Tubing
Once the glue is set, rotate the Easy Loc collar backwards to expose the barb. Push your .620" OD tubing onto the barb until it hits the stop.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the Easy Loc collar forward over the tubing to create a watertight seal.
