The 1/2" Easy Loc x 1/2" PVC Slip adapter is a unique "DIY" fitting that allows you to create custom irrigation components. One side features the standard 1/2" Easy Loc connection for poly tubing, while the other side is a versatile PVC slip connection.

This PVC end is designed to fit inside a standard 3/4" PVC socket fitting (like a tee or elbow) OR glue over a 1/2" PVC pipe. This flexibility allows you to adapt almost any PVC configuration directly to your 1/2" drip tubing using PVC glue.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to ensure a leak-proof connection.

Step 1: Preparation (PVC Side)
Clean the PVC connection points. Apply PVC primer and cement (glue) to the fitting and your PVC pipe/socket. Insert the adapter and give it a quarter turn to ensure even glue distribution. Allow to cure fully before pressurizing.

Step 2: Prepare Tubing
Cut your 1/2" poly tubing squarely with scissors. Ensure the cut is clean and free of burrs.

Step 3: Unlock
Rotate the Easy Loc locking collar backwards to expose the internal barb. Do not remove the nut completely.

Step 4: Connect Tubing
Push your 1/2" poly tubing firmly over the barb until it hits the stop.

Step 5: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collar forward over the tubing to clamp the connection in place. Hand-tighten firmly.

  • It will NOT fit flat Drip Tape.
