Description

Double the Direction. Start at the Source.

The 1/2" Compression Female Hose Start Tee allows you to split your drip system into two opposing directions directly from the water source. Featuring a 3/4" Female Hose Thread (FHT) swivel in the center and two 1/2" compression outlets on the sides, this fitting is perfect for running mainline tubing along the base of a wall or the edge of a garden bed in both directions from a single faucet or hose-end timer.

The swivel action simplifies installation, letting you tighten the connection to the water source without twisting the long runs of tubing attached to the sides. As one of our most versatile irrigation fittings for head assemblies, it ensures a secure, leak-free start to your system using reliable compression technology.

Why Choose a Hose Start Tee?
  • Efficient Layout: Eliminates the need for extra elbows or tees downstream by splitting the flow immediately at the spigot.
  • Swivel Connection: The center nut rotates independently, allowing for easy attachment to faucets, regulators, or filters even after the tubing is installed.
  • Secure Seal: Internal compression rings grip the 1/2" polyethylene tubing tightly, preventing blowouts under pressure.
  • Durable Build: Molded from high-impact ABS plastic to resist UV degradation and outdoor weathering.
