The PVC Threaded Tee (FPT x FPT x FPT) is the cornerstone of custom irrigation manifolds. Featuring Female Pipe Threads on all three ends, this fitting allows you to screw in risers, nipples, or valves to create a versatile distribution point. It is widely used to branch off a main water line to feed separate zones or to install a pressure regulator and filter assembly.
Manufactured from durable white Schedule 40 PVC, these irrigation fittings are designed to handle the pressure requirements of both residential and commercial systems. Unlike glue-on fittings, threaded tees allow for easier system modifications—simply unscrew components to change your layout or replace parts without cutting pipe.

Follow these rules to prevent cracking female threads.
Step 1: Tape the Threads
Apply Thread Seal Tape (Teflon tape) to the Male threads of the nipple or riser you are connecting. Wrap 3-4 times in a clockwise direction.
Step 2: Align
Line up the components to avoid cross-threading. Screw the male fitting into the Threaded Tee by hand.
Step 3: Hand Tighten
Tighten the connection firmly by hand.
Step 4: Final Turn
Use a strap wrench or pliers to give it one to two additional turns max. WARNING: Overtightening Female PVC threads, especially with metal male fittings, will cause the tee to crack.
