The PVC Glue-In Hose End Adapter is a versatile problem-solver that bridges the gap between rigid PVC pipe and standard garden hose connections. Featuring a unique "dual-fit" PVC side, this adapter can either slip over 1/2" PVC pipe or glue inside a 3/4" PVC fitting. This flexibility allows you to easily create a hose filter connection, a drain point, or a supply line feed anywhere in your manifold.
Available in two configurations—Male Hose Thread (MHT) for creating an outlet, or Female Hose Thread (FHT) Swivel for connecting to a water source—these adapters are among our most adaptable irrigation fittings. The female swivel version is particularly prized for allowing you to attach rigid PVC directly to a spigot without the entire pipe assembly needing to rotate.

This fitting uses solvent welding. Choose your PVC method:
Method A: Connecting to 1/2" Pipe
Apply PVC Glue to the inside of the adapter and the outside of the 1/2" pipe. Slide the adapter over the pipe and hold.
Method B: Connecting to a 3/4" Fitting
Apply glue to the outside of the adapter (the spigot end) and the inside of your 3/4" PVC fitting (like a Tee or Elbow). Insert the adapter fully into the hub and hold.
Important for Female Swivel:
If installing the FHT model, ensure the swivel collar is free to rotate and no glue drips into the swivel mechanism.
