The Netafim Techline EZ 12mm Dripline (0.42 GPH, 6" Spacing, 200' Roll) is the ultimate professional solution for watering dense flower beds, intricate container gardens, and tightly spaced shrubs. Because it is manufactured with a smaller 12mm diameter (0.510" OD / 0.426" ID) and connects seamlessly to 12mm barbed fittings, it offers incredible flexibility. Boasting a tight 6-inch bending radius, it easily navigates sharp corners, weaves through dense foliage, and loops perfectly around narrow tree trunks without kinking. Whether installed directly on the surface or buried sub-surface, this dripline ensures uniform, healthy growth in any planting area.
Inside the highly adaptable tubing lies Netafim's world-renowned emitter technology. The factory-installed, Pressure-Compensating (PC) emitters guarantee a precise 0.42 GPH flow rate across a massive pressure range of 6 to 58 PSI. The 6-inch ultra-tight spacing creates a continuous, overlapping band of moisture that is perfect for heavily seeded beds. Even better, each silicon-diaphragm emitter features an advanced anti-siphon mechanism and continuous self-flushing design, actively preventing dirt and debris from clogging the system—making it exceptionally reliable for harsh agricultural environments and underground burial.

Install your 12mm Netafim Techline EZ correctly for optimal performance.
Step 1: Connect to Source
Connect the tubing to your water source or solid mainline. Ensure your head assembly includes a 120-mesh irrigation filter and a pressure regulator rated between 6 and 58 PSI.
Step 2: Route and Secure
Lay the highly flexible 12mm tubing on the surface or bury it sub-surface. Use U-shaped hold downs to firmly pin the tubing into place, weaving it neatly around your plants.
Step 3: Attach 12mm Fittings
Use specialized 12mm barbed fittings to create corners, tees, or branch off from a larger mainline. Standard 1/2" or 17mm fittings will absolutely not fit this smaller tubing.
Step 4: Flush and Cap
Before capping the system, turn the water on to flush any dirt or debris out of the open lines. Once the water runs clear, terminate the ends using a 12mm figure-eight line end or 12mm goof plug.
Can I use standard 1/2" Easy Loc or compression fittings with this tubing?
No, you must use standard 12mm insert fittings. Standard 1/2" tubing (which has an OD around 0.700") is significantly larger than this 12mm tubing (0.510" OD).
Attempting to use standard 1/2" or 17mm fittings will result in loose connections and immediate blowouts.
What does Anti-Siphon mean?
The anti-siphon mechanism prevents dirt, mud, and debris from being sucked back into the emitter when the irrigation system shuts down and pressure drops.
This is a critical feature that prevents the line from clogging, making the Techline EZ highly effective for sub-surface (underground) burial.
Do I need to use a pressure regulator?
Yes, this tubing is designed to operate strictly between 6 and 58 PSI. Standard home water pressure is often much higher (60+ PSI), which can blow the internal emitters out or burst the tubing.
Always install an irrigation pressure regulator at your water source before running the tubing.
How should I prepare my Techline EZ system for spring planting?
As you prepare for spring watering, open the flush valves or figure-eight ends of your Netafim lines and run the system to thoroughly flush out any fine silt or sediment that accumulated over the winter.
Additionally, check and clean your 120-mesh irrigation filter at the head assembly to guarantee optimal flow and pressure as the growing season kicks off.
