Long Arm Float Valve Kit

Set up automatic fill protection for your pond in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Assemble the Float Valve
Assemble the float valve, washer, mounting bracket, and nut as shown in the included instructions.

Step 2: Prep the Tubing
Install a compression ferrule about 1 inch from each end of the included tubing, followed by a plastic sleeve and a brass insert on each end.

Step 3: Connect the Tubing
Insert one end of the tubing into the float valve and the other end into the hose bib adapter. Tighten both compression ferrules with a wrench.

Step 4: Mount & Set the Water Level
Place the galvanized bracket under a rock at the edge of the pond. Adjust the water level by loosening the thumb screw and raising or lowering the float.

The kit includes the float valve with nut and washer, a galvanized metal bracket, a hose bib adapter, 2 brass compression ferrules, 2 plastic sleeves, 2 brass inserts, and 10 feet of poly tubing.

This gives you everything needed to connect the float valve to a hose bib within about 10 feet of the pond, pool, or tank.

How do I adjust the water level?
Loosen the thumb screw on the float valve and raise or lower the float arm to set the fill level you want.

Once set, re-tighten the thumb screw so the level holds steady during future fills.
