Description

Control Flow. Reduce & Adapt.

The Easy Loc Reducing Tee 1" x 1" x 3/4" w/ Shutoff Valve is a specialized fitting designed to bridge the gap between large-capacity mainlines and smaller distribution zones. It features two 1" Easy Loc connections for your primary run and a reduced 3/4" Easy Loc branch equipped with a built-in ball valve. This allows you to easily isolate or regulate flow to a secondary line without shutting down the entire system.

As one of the most versatile irrigation fittings in the Perma-Loc family, this tee eliminates the need for complex PVC manifolds or multiple adapters. It is perfect for agricultural setups or large landscapes where you need to transition from a 1" Poly Mainline to a 3/4" Header while maintaining individual zone control.

Why Choose Easy Loc with Shutoff?
  • Integrated Valve: The durable ball valve on the 3/4" branch provides instant On/Off control, perfect for maintenance or seasonal watering adjustments.
  • Seamless Reduction: Directly transitions from 1" tubing to 3/4" tubing in a single fitting, saving money on extra bushings and couplers.
  • Secure Locking Technology: The locking nuts screw over the tubing, compressing it against the internal barbs for a connection that resists blowouts and leaks.
  • Reusable & Adjustable: Unlike glued fittings or crimp clamps, Easy Loc fittings can be unscrewed and repositioned, making system changes effortless.
  • Chemical Resistant: Constructed from UV-stabilized polypropylene to withstand fertilizers, chemicals, and harsh sunlight.

How to Install: A Step-by-Step Guide

Connect large tubing with ease.

Step 1: Prep the Tubing
Ensure your 1" and 3/4" poly tubing ends are cut square and are free of dirt. A clean cut ensures the best seal.

Step 2: Unlock the Fitting
Rotate the large Easy Loc locking collars backwards towards the center of the fitting to expose the internal barbs.

Step 3: Insert Tubing
Push the tubing onto the corresponding barb (1" on the run, 3/4" on the branch). Rocking the tubing back and forth can help seat it fully against the stop.

Step 4: Lock it Down
Twist the locking collars forward over the tubing. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not use wrenches as this can damage the plastic threads.

Ensure a professional installation with these related items:

  • Hold Downs: Heavy-duty stakes are essential for keeping large 1" tubing in place.
  • Punch Tool: Use a reliable punch to add emitters or 1/4" fittings to your line.
  • 1" Poly Tubing: High-capacity tubing for your main run.
  • 3/4" Poly Tubing: Ideal for secondary zones or garden beds.
