Description

Start at the Source. Turn the Corner.

The 1/2" Compression Female Hose Start Elbow is the ideal starting point for a drip system that connects to a faucet, hose bibb, or garden hose. This fitting features a swivel 3/4" Female Hose Thread (FHT) connection, allowing you to attach it securely to your water source or pressure regulator without twisting your entire line of tubing.

By orienting your 1/2" poly tubing at a 90-degree angle immediately after the connection, this elbow prevents kinking and allows for a neat, organized layout against a house wall or raised bed. As one of our most essential irrigation fittings for head assemblies, it utilizes a secure compression ring to grip the tubing for a permanent, leak-proof seal.

Why Choose a Swivel Elbow?
  • Prevents Kinking: The 90-degree design allows tubing to run straight down from a faucet, eliminating the stress and kinks common with straight adapters.
  • Easy Attachment: The swivel nut rotates independently of the fitting body, meaning you can tighten it onto a faucet without wrestling with a long coil of tubing.
  • Secure Compression: The internal compression ring bites into the 1/2" tubing, ensuring it won't pop off under standard operating pressures.
  • Durable Materials: Constructed from high-impact ABS plastic to withstand sunlight, weather, and fertilizers.
