Description

Complete Your 1½" Mazzei Venturi Injector System with This Bypass & Suction Assembly Kit

The 1½" Mazzei Bypass Suction Assembly Kit (K-183-A) provides all the hardware needed to build a fully functional fertigation bypass loop around your 1½" Mazzei Venturi injector. Installing the injector on a bypass — rather than directly in-line — is Mazzei's recommended method: it creates the pressure differential required for reliable suction while preserving full system flow. This kit is designed for commercial agriculture, large-scale nurseries, cannabis operations, and any irrigation system requiring high-volume liquid fertigation or chemigation.

Everything required for bypass and suction plumbing is included in one package. Note: The injector itself and any hose-barb cap are sold separately and are not included in this kit. For assistance sizing or ordering 1½" Mazzei accessories, please call DripWorks at 1-800-522-3747.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use a bypass instead of installing the injector directly in-line?
Installing the Mazzei injector on a bypass is Mazzei's recommended method. A bypass loop allows you to partially close a main-line valve to divert a controlled portion of water through the injector, creating the pressure differential needed for suction without restricting overall system flow.

Direct in-line installation may not generate sufficient pressure drop, resulting in little or no fertilizer suction.

Is the injector included with this kit?
No. The injector and any hose-barb cap must be purchased separately. This kit contains only the bypass hoses, adapters, clamps, metering valve, suction tubing, and strainer needed to complete the installation.

Shop compatible 1½" Mazzei injectors separately, or call us at 1-800-522-3747 for help building a complete system.

What type of fertilizer can I use with the Mazzei injector?
Mazzei injectors require liquid fertilizers, as the Venturi suction system draws solution directly from a tank through the suction tubing included in this kit.

Compatible with most water-soluble liquid fertilizers, acids, and agricultural chemicals. Always flush the system with clean water after each fertigation cycle.

✔ Compatibility & Ordering Notes
