Description

Versatile Splitting. Simple Control.

The Hose Y With Valve is a convenient, dual-outlet connector that instantly transforms a single outdoor faucet into two separate water sources. Available in economical Plastic (HYV) or durable Brass (HYVBR), this essential accessory allows you to operate a drip irrigation system on one side while keeping the other outlet free for a hand-held garden hose.

Designed for everyday gardening tasks, these irrigation fittings feature independent shut-off levers, giving you complete control over water flow to each zone. Whether you are setting up automatic water timers or simply need to fill a watering can without disconnecting your main system, this splitter offers the flexibility you need at the spigot.

Why Choose the Hose Y With Valve?
  • Dual Shut-Offs: Each outlet has its own valve lever, allowing you to run both lines simultaneously, just one, or shut the water off completely at the source.
  • Swivel Connection: The inlet connector swivels freely (on both Plastic and Brass models), making it easy to attach to your faucet without twisting the entire unit or kinking your hoses.
  • Material Options: Choose the lightweight, non-corrosive Polymer (Plastic) for general use, or upgrade to the heavy-duty Brass construction for higher durability and heat resistance.
  • Leak-Resistant Design: Engineered with quality seals and standard 3/4" hose threads to ensure a watertight connection to spigots and accessories.

Ensure the rubber washer inside the female swivel inlet is in place. If worn or missing, replace it with a standard hose washer to prevent leaks.

Step 2: Connect to Faucet
Screw the top swivel connector onto your outdoor spigot. Hand-tighten only. Caution: Do not use wrenches on the Plastic model, as over-tightening can crack the body.

Step 3: Attach Hoses or Timers
Connect your garden hose, hose thread filter, or water timer to the male outlets. Adjust the levers to open or close flow to specific sides.
