Filters

Filters remove sediment and other particles that are large enough to clog an irrigation system. We recommend installing a filter on every irrigation system and will not warrant a system without a proper filter installed. We offer a variety of filters designed to meet the unique needs of your system. Select the appropriate filter based on the quality of your water supply and the size of your system.
Home Garden Screen Filters are perfect for small to medium size irrigation systems with a fairly clean water supply. They have a screen which captures sediment and debris present in the water supply. These filters are not rated for use under constant pressure and should be placed after automated valves and timers.
Heavy Duty Screen Filters have reinforced bodies and o-rings which allow them to be used under constant pressure. They can be installed before automated valves and timers. These are ideal for irrigation systems with multiple zones as they can be paced before a manifold. These screen filters are great for capturing sediment that may be present in the water supply.
Disc Filters have a cylinder of compressed discs inside which are ideal for capturing algae and organic matter. These filters are commonly used to filter water from creeks, ponds, reservoirs, water catchment tanks and any other source that may contain algae.
Sand Media Filters are large scale filters designed to remove organic material from large irrigation systems or swimming pools. The level of filtration depends on the sand used in the filter. Sand is sold separately due to the weight and cost of shipping. Filter sand can be found at most building supply stores.
