Description

Fertigation at Every Faucet — Move One EZ-FLO Injector Anywhere in Your Garden

The EZ-FLO Faucet Switching Kit (Simple) is the smart, economical solution for gardeners and growers who want to fertigate multiple zones without buying a separate injector for each location. By installing one of these switching kits at each outdoor faucet where you water, you can simply unplug the EZ-FLO hose-thread injector tank and move it from faucet to faucet—without disconnecting any tubing or disturbing your drip lines.

Each kit provides everything needed to set up a secondary connection point: a Hose Bib Adapter, a Flow Disc Kit, 5 feet of black inlet tubing, and 5 feet of clear outlet tubing. Compatible with EZ-FLO hose-thread models that use a CAP-MPT cap (sold separately as IEZCAP). This includes the standard EZ-FLO 3/4-gallon and 2-gallon hose-thread injector models available at DripWorks.

Why Use the EZ-FLO Faucet Switching Kit?
  • Maximize One Injector Across Multiple Zones: Install a switching kit at each faucet in your garden, vegetable beds, orchard, or landscape, then freely move the EZ-FLO tank wherever you need to fertigate—without purchasing a second or third injector.
  • No Disruption to Your Drip Lines: The kit stays permanently connected at each faucet. When you move the tank, the tubing connection at your existing drip system remains in place and undisturbed.
  • Complete Kit — Ready to Install: Includes the hose bib adapter, flow disc kit, and both black and clear tubing sections needed to set up a fully functional second (or third) faucet connection point.
  • Supports Low-Flow Systems: The included Flow Disc Kit allows the EZ-FLO injector to operate in low-flow drip systems, as low as 7.5 GPH when discs are installed.
  • Cost-Effective Fertigation: Save money by extending the use of one EZ-FLO injector tank across your entire property rather than buying one for every watering zone.
What's Included — Parts List

This kit contains four components to create one complete secondary faucet connection point for your EZ-FLO injector:

Component SKU Qty Purpose
EZ-FLO Hose Bib Adapter IEZBIB 1 Connects the injector tubing assembly to your outdoor faucet (hose bib)
EZ-FLO Flow Disc Kit IEZDISC 1 Flow restriction discs enabling operation in low-flow drip systems (down to 7.5 GPH)
EZ-FLO Black Tubing, 5' IEZBLTUBE 1 Inlet (supply) tube — carries water from the faucet adapter into the injector tank
EZ-FLO Clear Tubing, 5' IEZCLTUBE 1 Outlet tube — carries the fertilizer-water mix from the injector tank to your drip system; clear for easy visual confirmation of fertilizer flow

Note: The EZ-FLO injector tank itself is sold separately. This kit is designed for hose-thread EZ-FLO models that use a CAP-MPT style cap (IEZCAP). A backflow preventer is required at each faucet connection and is not included.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many switching kits do I need?
You need one Faucet Switching Kit installed at each outdoor faucet location where you want the option to fertigate. You only ever need one EZ-FLO injector tank, which you move between the permanently installed switching kits.

Which EZ-FLO injector models is this kit compatible with?
This kit is designed for hose-thread EZ-FLO units that use a CAP-MPT style cap (IEZCAP). This includes the standard 3/4-gallon and 2-gallon EZ-FLO hose-thread injector models carried by DripWorks.

Do I need a backflow preventer with this kit?
Yes, a backflow preventer is required at every faucet where fertilizer is injected into the water line. It is not included in this kit and must be purchased separately.

Can the switching kit be left connected to the faucet year-round?
The tubing and adapter can remain at the faucet during the growing season, but the EZ-FLO injector tank must be removed, drained, and stored indoors before freezing temperatures arrive.

What fertilizers can I use with the EZ-FLO injector and this switching kit?
Any liquid or water-soluble fertilizer containing less than 0.5% insoluble impurities can be used. The system works equally well with concentrated liquid fertilizers and dry water-soluble fertilizers dissolved in water.

Can I use the clear outlet tubing to verify the injector is working?
Yes — that's exactly what the clear outlet tubing is for. You should be able to see fertilizer solution moving through the clear tube within a few minutes of the water turning on.

✔ Compatibility & Important Notes

  • Compatible Models: Designed for EZ-FLO hose-thread injectors using a CAP-MPT cap (IEZCAP) — specifically the standard 3/4-gallon and 2-gallon hose-thread units. Not compatible with EZ-FLO main-line or high-pressure in-line units.
  • Not for Constant Pressure: EZ-FLO hose-thread injectors are not designed to hold static water pressure. This switching kit must be installed downstream of a timer or zone valve. Leaving the faucet open without a timer engaged can damage the injector tank.
  • Maximum Operating Pressure: 50 PSI. If your water pressure is at or near 50 PSI, install a pressure regulator upstream of the injector.
  • Backflow Preventer Required (Not Included): A backflow preventer must be installed at each faucet where this kit is used. This is both a safety requirement and frequently a local code requirement when injecting fertilizers or chemicals into a water line.
  • Tank Not Included: This kit includes all components to create one secondary faucet connection point. The EZ-FLO injector tank is sold separately.

Complete Your EZ-FLO Fertigation Setup

Make the most of this switching kit with these essential components and compatible products:

  • EZ-FLO Hose-Thread Injectors: The 3/4-gallon and 2-gallon hose-thread models that pair directly with this switching kit.
  • EZ-FLO Replacement Parts & Accessories: Replacement caps, tubing, dip tubes, and other accessories to keep your injector system running smoothly.
  • Backflow Preventers: Required at every faucet to prevent fertilizer from contaminating your home water supply. Choose a hose-thread model to match this kit.
  • Hose-Thread Timers: Required upstream of every EZ-FLO hose-thread injector to prevent constant-pressure damage to the tank.
  • Pressure Regulators: Protect the injector tank — and your entire drip system — by dropping high municipal water pressure to a safe operating level of 25–30 PSI.
  • Drip Filters: Install a quality screen filter downstream of the injector to prevent any undissolved fertilizer particles from reaching and clogging your emitters.
  • EZ-FLO Fertilizers: Water-soluble and liquid fertilizers formulated specifically for use with EZ-FLO fertigation systems.
